Katie Vita is a California-born artist focusing on screenwriting, cinematography, and mixed-media photography based in New York City.  Shooting both digital and film, Vita is inspired by various aspects of pop culture for image-making. Movies, music videos, and romance novels inspire her writing and world-building. Working as a multi-media artist, Vita uses screenwriting as a tool to develop image-based artwork. Vita is currently writing the Dear Miles movie of The Universe of Violet film series.
